With the BAKUN Universe, Jean Luc Gossé weaves a complex narrative and produces monumental illustrations that immerse us in a fantastic, spiritual and augmented world. By putting the experience in the course of the exhibition, we wish to plunge you in the elsewhere and that this place of the imaginary plants fertile seeds in our reality.
BAKUN is a nomad who carries the universe within him. He is however in perpetual search of meaning and beauty. In the heart of the desert, he almost reaches his goal, the treasure of ancestral knowledge, but his quest is strewn with obstacles, the main one being the Dragon of chaos. This being so monstrous but at the same time familiar which seems to lurk in the depths of each of us. BAKUN crosses dreams and deserts, the real and the surreal, he explores the world until the doors of Abidjan where on June 25, 2021, he delivers the story of his latest explorations.
